The Vicinity Greenwall 80 pot vertical garden kit with tank, pump & irrigation system for automatic watering. Creates a 1.2m wide x 2.2m tall green wall.

Designed as a modular solution for DIY and landscape professionals, the Vicinity Greenwall is the ultimate system for any green wall project where the aim is to create a beautiful living wall with minimal fuss.
This kit consists of everything you need to create a 1.2m wide x 2.2m tall, fully self-contained and self-watering vertical garden on any wall.
The included Vicinity tank and pump system re-circulates the water from the tanks at the bottom of the vertical garden through the included irrigation pipes, up to the top of the wall where it cascades down, watering each plant until it reaches the tanks at the bottom again. You can also add a timer to your power outlet to only water your green wall at certain times of the day.
When its time to feed your vertical plants some nutrients, just add your favourite liquid plant food into the tanks and it will be circulated evenly throughout your Vicinity Greenwall.

Included in this kit:

 

Modular Mounting Rails x 16

The modular mounting rails attach to the vertical surface for the pots to clip on to. Rails are made from aluminium to prevent corrosion, make it lightweight and allow for multiple fixing points and even weight distribution. Each rail measures 1m in length and can be cut to size for customization making the system height adjustable. 

Plant Bags x 80

The plant bag keeps the soil in place and holds the plant in the pot, preventing it from falling out in the wind while supporting its neck and allowing for adequate water distribution around the plant. The plant bag material is weaved from recycled plastic and is biodegradable, reusable and UV resistant.

Hex Pots x 80

Each hex pot clips onto the mounting rail at a 30° upward angle which means that plants are not shaded by the overhang of any pots above. The hexagonal shape allows for dense planting while maximising soil volume and ensuring minimal gaps between plants. Each pot can hold a 15cm plant or smaller, with 30 pots per square meter. Seedlings can be used to reduce overall costs and pots can be planted off-site to allow for seedling growth prior to the construction of the green wall.

Master Tank x 1

The Master Tank measures 30cm in length & holds 11 litres of water. It is to be joined to the secondary tanks via simple pipe connectors supplied in the kit. The master tank features a float valve and an overflow drain. Connect your water outlet to the master tank via the Float Valve and the tanks will automatically fill up when the water level is low. The overflow drain ensures your tanks won't overflow and is designed to be directed to a nearby drainage point.

Secondary Tank x 3

The Secondary Tanks attach to the Master Tank with the included pipe connectors. Each secondary tank measures 30cm in length and holds 11 litres of water. In total, with the master tank and 3 secondary tanks, this kit holds 44 litres of water in the tank system.

DC40 Water Pump + Irrigation Kit

The 40 Volt Water Pump sits inside the tank submerged in water and pumps water from the tanks up to the top row of pots. Water is dripped into the top row of pots and cascades down through each row of pots below until it reaches the tanks again. Connect the pump to a timer to water at specific times of the day. Poly tubing and all necessary irrigation components such as drippers, connectors and an in-line filter are included with this kit.

Christmas & New Year Delivery Dates


VIC, NSW and QLD

All orders ship from Melbourne, and some couriers have reported extended transit times for deliveries to and from VIC and NSW to the rest of Australia. Given these considerations, if you place your order before 30th November, you will most likely receive it before Christmas.

The same goes for those in a regional area; we recommend placing your order no later than 30th November to receive your order before the 24th of December. 

SA, WA, TAS, ACT & NT

Orders for the above states should be in before the 30th November and as early as the 27th of November for regional areas within these states.

Office Closures 

Our office will be closed from December 24th until December 28th, and from the 31st December until the 3rd of January. We will operate with skeleton staff who will be monitoring email enquiries during this time, but our phones will be unmanned.

Warehouse Closures 

Many of our suppliers close over the Christmas and New Year period, opening again at various stages in early January. This means that our standard delivery times will most likely not be accurate.

Our 30-day Easy Return policy has no special catches and is extremely simple! All we ask is that you return the item back to us unused and in the original packaging, making sure that the product is in the same condition that you received it in, labels still intact.

If you want to exchange something on your order for something else then simply return what you don’t want and place a new order for what you require on our website

To request a refund or exchange, simply fill out the returns form within 30 days of receiving your order and we will happily take it back.

You can choose between an exchange or a full refund of the product's purchase price made to your original payment method.

Exchanges are shipped and refunds are processed once the order items make it back to our warehouse.

If you choose an exchange and the new item is of lesser value we will refund the difference and if more expensive you'll be able to easily pay the difference online.

We ask that you take the time to measure your area accurately to avoid over-ordering of any product.

Custom items are not eligible for return.

We do not cover postage costs for returns and we do recommend our customers use registered post with insurance. If you are unable to organise the return of the product(s), you may opt to have us organise the return with one of our couriers for you. All incurred courier fees and additional fees for this service will apply. These fees can be deducted from the refundable amount.

 

Damages

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery.

If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to hello@verticalgardensdirect.com.au and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.

Incorrect Delivery

Sometimes mistakes can happen. If we happen to send you incorrect products, we sincerely apologise in advance!

If you're not 100% completely satisfied with your purchase we will happily accept your return and provide you with a store credit or a full refund to the value of the product's purchase price.

Our 30-day Easy Return policy has no special catches and is extremely simple! All we ask is that you return the item back to us unused and in the original packaging, making sure that the product is in the same condition that you received it in, labels still intact.

If you want to exchange something on your order for something else then simply return what you don’t want and place a new order for what you require on our website

To request a refund or exchange, simply fill out the returns form within 30 days of receiving your order and we will happily take it back.

You can choose between an exchange or a full refund of the product's purchase price made to your original payment method.

Exchanges are shipped and refunds are processed once the order items make it back to our warehouse.

If you choose an exchange and the new item is of lesser value we will refund the difference and if more expensive you'll be able to easily pay the difference online.

We ask that you take the time to measure your area accurately to avoid over-ordering of any product.

Custom items are not eligible for return.

We do not cover postage costs for returns and we do recommend our customers use registered post with insurance. If you are unable to organise the return of the product(s), you may opt to have us organise the return with one of our couriers for you. All incurred courier fees and additional fees for this service will apply. These fees can be deducted from the refundable amount.

 

Damages

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery.

If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to hello@verticalgardensdirect.com.au and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.

Incorrect Delivery

Sometimes mistakes can happen. If we happen to send you incorrect products, we sincerely apologise in advance!

Please call us as soon as soon as possible on 1300 832 527 and we will arrange to collect the incorrect item and deliver to you the correct one.

This, of course, will occur at no cost to you.

  • Hi, I'd like to use this product on my indoor balcony. There's no water source and I need to protect the floorboards from water spill. Is it possible to accommodate these needs?

    We do not recommend using this system without a water source.

    We would strongly suggest attaching a hose to the main tank which will automatically fill the tanks up if they ever get too low which will prevent the pump burning out.

  • Hi - I like the vicinity green wall 80 pot plant kit. I noticed that it is 1.2M x 2.2M. My wall that I want to put it on is 0.9M wide by 3M tall. Can I use this system 3 wide instead of 4 wide and use the excess row to make up my height...

  • Hi there, Product looks great. We are going to build a living wall but dimensions are 1.2 (h) x 2.8 (l). Flexible On these if needed. just wondering if this product comes in different dimensions? Also, looking for some lights we might be able to use also. Only ones I can find are big banks that shoot over the top of garden beds etc. just wondering if there are any options you sell or know of that look more like the lights that sit over pictures and a bit more made for wall planters.   • Hello, I'm looking at specifying this product for a residential project. However, the balcony has no water source. It does have power. Will this system work by keeping the reservoirs manually topped up? Regards, Harrison

    We do not recommend using the tank and pump system without being connected to a water source (especially if using an automated pump timer) as you run the risk of the pump running without any water in the tanks which will burn it out.

  • Looking at installing a hex pot system that will need to be 900mm wide x 2400mm high approx. What would be the weight of that system please?

    The total weight of the rails, pots and soil would equate to approx 80kg.

    Please keep in mind the weight will increase when watered and depending on the types of plants used.

  • Can liquid fertilizers be added to the tanks and then pumped through the system?

    Yes, Liquid fertilizer can be added to the tanks, or it can be sprayed directly on to the plants.

Awesome Product!

The only downside I can say about the product is the time it took to assemble. Because I was attaching it to a concrete wall, there was around 60 hammer drill holes required! Apart from that, I've had fantastic customer support with a few minor issues and my friends think I can grow a garden (I've killed Rosemary before). Highly recommended!
